Description	IN/MM/G14/15122023/01-You have failed to ensure that exposure of your employees to welding fume, a substance hazardous to health, is either prevented or where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled, as the size and shape of workpieces requires that the capture hood of mobile local exhaust ventilation is positioned well above the weld, so that welding fume reaches the breathing zone of those conducting this work and respiratory protective equipment has not been provided. IN/MM/G14/15122023/02 -You have failed to ensure that thorough examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation system has been conducted within the last 14 months, where this has been provided as an engineering control for exposure to welding fume (a substance hazardous to health) produced during welding activities. IN/MM/G14/15122023/03-ou have failed to make and give effect to appropriate arrangements for the effective monitoring of watermix metalworking fluid (MWF) quality, in that concentration and pH testing is not conducted at appropriate intervals to ensure MWF quality is maintained in the recommended range within the sump of the business’s horizontal bandsaw, where exposure to poor quality MWF can increase the risk of developing ill health conditions such as dermatitis. IN/MM/G14/15122023/04-You have failed to ensure that employees who are or are liable to be exposed via skin contact to water-mix metalworking fluid (a substance hazardous to health) are placed under suitable health surveillance where it is appropriate for the protection of their health.
