Description	1 IN You have not appointed one or more competent persons to assist you, at this premises, in undertaking the measures needed to comply with the requirements imposed on your company by or under the relevant statutory provisions, including the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, the Workplace (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations 2002 and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR), Regulation 6(6) 2 You have failed to ensure that your Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), which is used to control employee exposure to substances hazardous to health namely polishing dust, has been thoroughly examined and tested in the last 14 months. 3 IN You have failed to provide suitable and sufficient rest facilities for employees including suitable facilities to eat meals where food eaten in the workplace would otherwise be likely to become contaminated. Such as, being separate to the polishing room activities. 4 IN You have failed to make and give effect to such arrangements as are appropriate, for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitoring and review of the preventive and protective measures that will so far as is reasonably practicable ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of your employees who are exposed to risks working in jewellery workshop.
