Description | Notice: 313826964 - Serial Number: IN-TMM13-011123-01 You have failed to appoint one or more competent persons in order to assist you to comply with the requirements of the health and safety legislation relevant to your undertaking. Notice: 313826981 - Serial Number: IN-TMM13-011123-02 You have failed to have your local exhaust ventilation (LEV), attached to the three brick cutting saws, that you have provided to control exposure to a substance hazardous to health, namely respirable crystalline silica (RCS) dust, a known cause of silicosis and lung cancer, subjected to a thorough examination and test within the last 14 months. Notice: 313826987 - Serial Number: IN-TMM13-011123-03 You have failed to ensure that the exposure of employees to a substance hazardous to health, namely respirable crystalline silica (RCS) dust, which can cause occupational silicosis and lung cancer, is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled. This is because employees have not been provided with suitable respiratory protective equipment (RPE) as employees were provided tight fitting FFP3 half mask respirators for which they have not been face fit tested. In addition one employee who is required to wear the provided RPE had facial hair. Notice: 313826992 - Serial Number: IN-TMM13-011123-04 You have failed to ensure that the exposure of employees to a substance hazardous to health, namely respirable crystalline silica (RCS) dust, is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled. This is because employees are dry sweeping brick dust which will contain RCS using brooms. This will disturb the dust, which will become airborne again and can be inhaled, therefore giving rise to the risk of ill health, including silicosis and lung cancer. Notice: 313827000 - Serial Number: IN-TMM13-011123-05 You have failed to provide suitable health surveillance for employees who are liable to be exposed to a substance hazardous to health, namely respirable crystalline silica (RCS) dust, a known cause of silicosis and lung cancer. | ||
