IN served - You have failed to prevent or adequately control the exposure of your employees to a substance hazardous to health namely wood dust during the use and operation of the Makita Mitre saw, in particular you have failed to install and operate an effective local exhaust system (LEV) in order to reduce exposures to airborne wood dust, or operate any equally efficient method to control the release of wood dust. You have consequently failed to ensure as far as reasonably practicable the health safety and welfare at work of your employees in particular you failed to manage the risks associated with working with wood and the risk of exposure to wood dust. | ||
