Improvement Notice - Use of woodworking machines and hand tools were generating a large quantity of wood dust, which was not being adequately controlled. Local exhaust ventilation systems were failing to capture all the dust and it was present on the floor, walls, pipework and other surfaces around the site. Employees were not correctly using suitable respiratory protective equipment to prevent exposure.
