1xIN Where Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) is provided to control employees’ exposure to a hazardous substance (wood dust), you have failed to ensure that a thorough examination and test (TE) of the LEV is carried out at least once every 14 months.
2xIN You have failed to ensure that the exposure of employees to substances hazardous to health (namely wood dust) is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled by providing suitable RPE. (where required to control residual risk) For example, FFP3 half mask respirators for operators who are clean shaven and have been face fit tested for the type of mask provided. |
