| Description | PN Served - Spraying of paint/hardener without air-fed breathing apparatus prohibited as employees undertaking spray painting will be exposed to isocyanates, a substance hazardous to health which can cause occupational asthma. Failure to ensure that exposure of your employees to isocyanates is prevented or controlled as low a level as is reasonably practicable because your employees are not wearing air-fed breathing apparatus when undertaking spraying operations. IN 1 - Have failed to ensure that your local exhaust ventilation (LEV) system, provided for your spray room, in order to control substances hazardous to health (e.g. isocyanates) when spray painting, has been thoroughly examined in the previous 14 months IN 2 - Have failed to make and give effect to arrangements for the effective planning, organisation, and review of the Thorough Examination and Testing of your local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems, which you provide to control exposure of employees to substances hazardous to health during paint spraying. IN 3 - Have failed to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety at work of all your employees, because you have failed to provide and maintain a means of access to and egress from the mezzanine floor at your site, which is safe. The height between the top tread of the staircase and the mezzanine floor level is too large for a person to step up/down and is inconsistent with the rise between other treads in the flight of steps, presenting a risk of employees falling or tripping. | ||
