Description IN issued as you have not appointed a competent person or persons, with adequate time available, to assist you in undertaking the measures you need to take to comply with the requirements and prohibitions of the relevant statutory provisions. IN issued as you have not ensured that the exposure of employees to mist containing metal working fluids (which is a substance hazardous to health) produced while using the Heidenhein CNC lathe (machine reference MC073) is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled IN issued as you have failed to control, monitor and review the growth of bacteria in your metal working fluid through the use of dip slide testing, the results of which would allow you to protect against the use of contaminated fluid causing exposure to harmful bacteria IN issued as you have failed to provide health surveillance to your employees who are liable to be exposed to; a) metal working fluid, inhalation of which is a potential cause of occupational asthma and skin contact may cause occupational dermatitis, and b) potential asthmagens in welding fume from welding stainless steel components. IN issued as you have failed to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risk to health of your employees from exposure to welding fume
