| Description | Improvement Notice: 312082901 Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, Section 2(1) Regulation 11 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 ("COSHH") That where it is appropriate for the protection of the health of your employees who are, or are liable to be, exposed to water-mix metal working fluids, a substance which is known to be hazardous to health (can cause occupational hypersensitivity pneumonitis and dermatitis), you have failed to ensure that your employees are under suitable health surveillance. Improvement Notice: 312083000 Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, Section 2(1) Regulation 6 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 ("COSHH") Where work is carried out as part of the operation of the CNC machining process, which is liable to expose employees to water-mix metal working fluid, a substance which is known to be hazardous to health (can cause occupational hypersensitivity pneumonitis and dermatitis), you have failed to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risk created by that work to the health of those employees and of the steps that need to be taken to meet the requirements of COSHH.
