The use of a mobile telephone while operating a forklift truck is a distraction which prevents the operator being in full control of the vehicle. A lack of control creates a danger to the operator and others. PN served - Operating the Ital Rewinder Machine on Line 3 without suitable and sufficient guarding of dangerous parts in place. Access to in-running nip, points, chains, cogs and wheels also cutting knife without suitable guarding. Serious life changing injuries could occur if an operative were to touch dangerous parts of the machine. | ||
