| Description | IN served - failed to ensure that fixed and moveable electrical equipment and systems in potentially explosive atmospheres are maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair to ensure that risk was reduced so far as reasonably practicable. DH supplied documentation relating to the IN on 28/08/20. The DH had complied with the bulk of the IN, in creating and undertaking an inspection strategy document. However, a question remained over how the DH was complying with the requirement within the strategy document regarding how they could demonstrate that the existing ATEX equipment had been subject to an initial inspection. The IN was extended to allow the DH to provide evidence of initial inspections and/or a risk based, time bound plan explaining how the evidence will be gathered. | ||
