| Description | IN.CMG.280220.A - 310483589 You, as an employer, have failed to ensure that the exposure of your employees (Paint sprayers and others liable to enter and/ or work in the building containing the 'paint shop') to substances hazardous to health, namely isocyanate (contained in various paint hardener products), is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled. Specifically, you are carrying out isocyanate paint spraying within your 'paint shop' (with a single LEV unit which does not provide adequate control) instead of within a properly designed spray booth/ room IN.CMG.280220.B - 310483920 You have failed to ensure that the 'air fed breathing apparatus' provided and used as a control measure by your paint sprayers for isocyanate paint mist and vapour generated during paint spraying activity have been subject to a thorough examination (and testing where appropriate) at suitable intervals. You have failed to ensure that the 'powered respirators' provided and used as a control measure by your welders for welding fumes generated during welding activity have been subject to a thorough examination (and testing where appropriate) at suitable intervals IN.CMG.280220.C - 310483923 You have failed to ensure that employees who carry out paint spraying activities and are exposed to isocyanate, a substance which is hazardous to health and is a respiratory sensitiser, are under suitable health surveillance IN.CMG.280220.D - 310483931 You, as an employer, are exposing employees to a substance hazardous to health, namely isocyanates (respiratory Sensiters) during paint spraying activity and have failed to ensure that the exposure of your employees to isocyanates is monitored with a suitable procedure | ||
