| Description | KL/PF/170818/1: Your Safety Management System does not include sufficient systems to monitor compliance with your explosives licence. During COMAH Intervention visits on 19/07/2018 and 01/08/2018 I identified several areas of non-compliance including that you have been storing explosives overnight in building 7C which is licensed for the ‘Manufacture of Fireworks’ only. This is in breach of your explosives licence (ref: XI/4111/598/9) and Regulation 7(1) of the Explosives Regulations 2014 (as amended) as no overnight storage of explosives is permitted in Building 7C. 1 x Improvement Notice (KL/PF/171018/1, 309466459) issued:- you have failed to take appropriate measures to prevent fire or explosion in that, with the exception of Buildings 1 and 3a lightning protection systems have not been installed on explosive stores or manufacturing/process buildings on your site. | ||
