| Description | The IP was operating a Skid Steer vehicle in the basement clearing up spilled glass ware from the reject chute (the glass would be hot from the forming process). When lifting a bucket full of the glass and water mixture it spilled back over the bucket into the lap of the driver. The driver immediately left the vehicle and proceeded to the amenities block before radioing for assistance. First aid was applied and emergency services contacted. The vehicle has been removed from service and will not be reinstated until fitted with a protective door that will not allow liquids or solids to pass into the cab area. The other Skid Steer vehicle was also inspected and it being already fitted with the protective door was allowed to continue operations. | ||
